Capitalizing on AI

Here's How You Can Capitalise on building on top of AI...

Even when it seems OpenAI wants to cover the whole market with its plugins.

Let's break the facts down.

OpenAI will eventually enable every plugin we can think of, and at some point sooner or later, agentic behavior too, like we see in (#babyAGI and#AutoGPT).

Just by seeing that they're building a Zapier plugin, you can notice they want full ownership of ChatGPT carrying out your intents as a human.

So the only option left to build meaningful and value-driven apps is narrowing down to a specific niche for a specific type of person.

I think vector stores like @Pinecone are a strong way to protect your developments from OpenAI. Vector stores let you store data in a "semantic" manner, so you can retrieve it as if it were part of the chat context.

These are the opportunities outside of OpenAI's interest... But still super attractive to entrepreneurs looking to build with AI.

Some examples:

-   Don't build a ChatGPT for Google Sheets that helps with formulas.
-   Do build a ChatGPT assistant for Google Sheets aimed at e-commerce businesses that specifically pulls data and integrates other tools like @triplewhale, @shopify, and @gorgias, and already recognizes the data and knows what to do with it.

-   Don't build a ChatGPT that lets you post a tweet from a chat UI.
-   Do build a ChatGPT that lets you post a tweet from a chat, but specifically aimed at tech creators. This new approach will connect to the main tech news channels (that you curated) and will aid the creator in this super-specific task with the most updated information online. This app will also transform the tweet into a newsletter.

-   Don't build a ChatGPT for standard financial management.
-   Do build a ChatGPT for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, tracking their portfolios, offering insights on the latest market trends, and providing personalized investment suggestions based on risk tolerance.

Riches are in the niches as @hormozi says.

Mainstream and simple AI tasks will be owned by big corporations like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google.

If you're looking to maximize your value, you need to be looking into these kinds of opportunities.

I'm walking my talk, and I'm building chat UIs that let my customers order through WhatsApp for my DTC business, Kim & Kimmy.
